SSI Diver Stress & Rescue

Description

The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty Program, Stress is a major contributor to rescue situations and diving accidents. You can improve your diving confidence and enjoyment by learning to recognize, handle and prevent stress related situations.

Recognizing stress, and dealing with it at an early stage, is a critical component for preventing diving accidents. Diving emergencies are usually the result of a series of small, escalating errors – rather than one large mistake – that require training and practice to recognize and correct.
